U.N. draft report of risks of unchecked greenhouse gas emissions

The New York Times recently published the conclusions of a leaked U.N. draft report on the effects of unchecked greenhouse gas emissions, which finds that they are already threatening to be more of a global crisis than the political process can solve alone.

“The world may already be nearing a temperature at which the loss of the vast ice sheet covering Greenland would become inevitable, the report said. The actual melting would then take centuries, but it would be unstoppable…” said the article.  Read more here.
