City Council member Antonio Reynoso will speak on campus about environmental justice

City Council member Antonio Reynoso, who chairs the committee on Sanitation and Solid Waste Managment will be the inaugural speaker for a new seires, called “City and State Champions of Justice” at John Jay College, on Monday May 4, 2015, at 5:30 p.m. in the Moot Court at John Jay College (6th floor of the new building). He is raising issues of environental justice in his capacity as committee chair, including the city’s outdated and hazardous commercial waste system.  The event is co-sponsored by the Center for Career Services, External Affairs, and the SEJ program.  Attendees will have the opportunity to talk to the council member, network, and discuss internship opportunities.  For more information on this exciting and important event, click here.
