Since the Flint, Michigan water crisis gained national attention in April 2014 the issue of pollution in our waterways has been pushed to the forefront. The people who live, work and play in America’s most polluted environments are commonly people of color and the poor. Environmental justice advocates have shown that this is no accident. This symposium will address America’s water crisis and its interplay with environmental justice.
