Join your friends and neighbors this spring and lend a hand alongside Hudson River Park staff to plant, weed, mulch and prune—while basking in the spring sunshine. From Chambers Street to 59th Street along Manhattan’s west side, Hudson River Park is the nation’s longest waterfront park with 4 miles of greenery. With no public funding for its operations, volunteer gardeners help keep this urban and recreational oasis a thing of year-round beauty. Time slots are flexible and training, tools and T-shirts will be provided. Call or email to learn more or sign up: (212) 757-0981 or [email protected].
